Murrell Ray Mifflin

	Murrell Ray Mifflin, 94, of Pinckneyville, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2002 at 11:25 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mr. Mifflin had been a Coal Miner for over 30 years and was a member of the UMWA.
	He was born June 12, 1907 at Johnson City, the son of Amos and Sarah (Pierson) Mifflin.  He married Pauline Mary Flowers on August 27, 1927 in Jonesboro.
	He is survived by his wife, Pauline Mifflin of Pinckneyville; one son, Donald Ray Mifflin of DuQuoin; one daughter, Myrline Mifflin of Pinckneyville; one brother, Raymond Mifflin of  Washington; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
	Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. at Old DuQuoin Cemetery.
	Neal-McClure Funeral Home of DuQuoin was in charge of the arrangements.  Those attending services should have gone directly to the cemetery.
